More about Trent...
Trent is currently finishing his Level 3 coaching certification, and Masters of International Sports Management and Marketing at Southern Cross University, having completed a Bachelor Sports Studies - Specialised in Coaching at ACPE in 2007.
Trent is a right arm fast bowler for the NSW SpeedBlitzBlues. Trent earned his chance with the Blues after stand out performances for the St George club in the Sydney Grade competition in 2008 and 2009.
In 2010, Trent made his first class debut for NSW against Queensland at the SCG in January, where he took a remarkable 8 for 92 in the first innings of the match. Trent finished the season with an impressive 35 wickets at an average of 17.57.
Trent was also named the winner of the prestigious Bill O’Reilly medal in April, 2010. His great form last season was rewarded with a 3-year contract with the NSW SpeedBlitz Blues.
The 2010/11 season Trent established himself as a regular member of the Sheffield Shield team taking 45 wickets helping NSW make the final, unfortunately losing to Tasmania, and also playing several matches in the Ryobi Cup and KFC Big Bash.
As a reward for Trent's ongoing success he was named Bradman Young Cricketer of the Year at the 2011 Allan Border Medal, named in the provisional Australia A team for the second consecutive year and NSW SpeedBlitz Blues Sheffield Shield Player of the Year for 2010/2011 season. Trent has since been named in the Australia VB Test Match tour of Sri Lanka in August 2011 reaching the pinnacle of the sport a big highlight in Trent's short but exciting career so far.
Due to his outstanding form for NSW over the past 18 months, Trent was also selected in the ACA Shield team of the year for 2009/10 and 2010/11.
